"NO NEWS" how is this possible? I wait a long 7 days every week to receive an update from my agency, and they have "NO NEWS". Our VN rep is in Vietnam hoping to finalize accreditation, how is it possible to have heard nothing from him in a week ? GRRR. I would have appreciated something, anything. They could have e-mailed me and told me that he had a great dinner last night, the weather is great, he's seen some cute kids at the orphanages, ANYTHING would have been better that NOTHING!.
Not everything is going terrible, we received the information we needed to begin our immigration paperwork. We got this in three business days not the five to ten business days like they had originally told us, so at least that's moving along.
I had someone come by and view our home today (we are moving around Christmas and are considering puting our house for sale in the fall) and they loved our house!. She's going to take another look at it with her father before she decides for sure, but it looks like we may have found a buyer before we've even listed. Great news on the home front!

To answer your question it took just over 7 weeks to receive ministry approval, they were estimationg 8-10 weeks for that. All of our other paperwork took less than a month to complete, but it took about 2.5 months to complete our homestudy interviews and report.We started the entire process on March 8th, so I guess we haven't really been waiting that long.
